Perfect Drunkard’s Path Piecing!

September 26, 2012

I’m so excited to share this with you.  Craftsy’s free BOM has sparked a lot of interest in piecing the traditional curved Drunkard’s Path block.  Curved piecing is a bear – and can be horribly frustrating.  So with all respect to Amy Gibson, the darling teacher leading that BOM, I think this video answers, once and for all, the correct way to piece.  It’s great news becuause it is faster and uses no pins!

I wish I’d found it before making this.

Happy Quilting!

Wow, this looks so easy! Have you tried his method yet? Makes me want to cut a bunch of curves just so I can try it…thanks for sharing 🙂

LOL, she makes it look soooo easy! It’s actually a little harder than it looks, but it’s not bad. Just takes some practice. I’ve used the Curve Master Presser foot, which is a little easier, but not by much. Both take practice. It’s amazing, though, the skills you learn while quilting, isn’t it?
